Capency Software uses La Poste's geographic reference systems to validate addresses.



  • HEXAPOSTE
    HEXAPOSTE contains:
    - All postal codes (6,300) and municipalities (36,600) - All CEDEX codes (21,000) and CEDEX distributor offices serving 180,000 businesses
    - The common INSEE codes
    - The 2,000 primary localities (former municipalities)

  • HEXAVIA
    HEXAVIA lists 2,100,000 streets in 36,600 municipalities in France, as well as their synonyms (former name, local name).
    Each street label contained in the repository is divided into three parts:
    - The principal word of the street: last word of the street
    - The full wording of the street
    - The type of street

  • HEXACLE
    HEXACLE contains 17 million codes divided as follows:
    - 15 million codes identifying geographic addresses with street numbers
    - 2 million identifier codes:
    • the street label, whether numbered or not
    • the geographic key: invariant code, consisting of the INSEE code and 5 alpha-numeric characters, incremented by a counter

  • HEXALIGNE3
    HEXALIGNE3 lists more than 535,000 additional addresses in France and includes all the elements relating to the building exterior: entrance, building, residence, etc., and covers vertical housing or property complexes.

  • CEDEXA
    CEDEXA enables the monitoring of the CEDEX address of companies and the correction from their geographic address
    The CEDEXA repository contains 180,000 addresses and is essential for "B2B" activities.
    CEDEXA is a computer file that lists the full address, in geographic and geopostal format, of French companies that use a CEDEX code.

  • ROUDIS2000
    The national ROUDIS repository contains the distribution codes (distribution factors) of the French municipalities. This information is extracted from the "La Poste" production reference to optimize mail delivery.
    - 1.5 million streets for the 18,000 municipalities served by several factors
    - The distribution code of the 18,000 municipalities served by a single factor

POSTAL STANDARDS
Standard 32:
Known under the reference Z 10-011, identifies the elements involved in a geopostal address as well as its structure. Each line must not contain more than 32 characters or spaces. Standard 32 is no longer effective since June 2015 and has been definitively replaced by standard 38.
Standard 38:
Standard 38, known under the reference XP Z 10-011, has been active since May 1997. Each line must be no more than 38 characters or spaces. Standard 38 has taken the place of standard 32 since November 1, 2015.
